I believe any kind of repetitive physical activity works just fine. Long walk in nature are probably a little bit better.

I love a long walk. Sometimes with a complex podcast, sometimes with no screens at all.

I'm a proud graduate of 'if I didn't track the steps then it didn't count'.

Really enjoyed this post. I could relate. In fact I had heads down on a post for my Substack and feeling pretty jammed. I decided to get up and head out the front door for a long walk. Feeling refreshed. Thank you.

Absolutely agree, while I would not dare to compare my thoughts to those brilliant minds, I often had epiphanies while taking long and fast walks, while enjoying nature and letting my mind wander. That's why the surrounding of my home is so important to me.
